About PONTEA

Structured preparation for architecture admission in Italy

PONTEA School is an online preparation programme focused on the ARCHED and TIL-A architecture admission tests.

Our commitments

  • Teach against the current official exam framework
  • Make progress visible through diagnostics and timed practice
  • Separate university facts from preparation advice
  • Correct dated or inaccurate guidance when identified
01

What PONTEA helps students prepare for

The programme covers the five subject areas used in the current ministerial architecture-test model: reading comprehension, history and prior knowledge, logical reasoning, drawing and representation, and mathematics and physics. Study support includes structured lessons, exam-style exercises, diagnostics, timed simulations, and preparation planning.

02

How mentors fit into the programme

PONTEA describes its mentors as students or graduates of architecture universities in Italy, including Polimi and Polito, who have already experienced the admissions path. Their role is to review progress, support planning, and help students maintain a consistent study routine. Subject teaching and admission decisions remain separate responsibilities.

03

What PONTEA is not

PONTEA is not Politecnico di Milano, Politecnico di Torino, the Italian Ministry of University and Research, or an official test administrator. University calls, ministerial decrees, rankings, and enrolment notices always take precedence over our summaries.

04

How to evaluate the programme

Use the free assessment and mock materials to judge fit before choosing a paid path. Ask which support is included, how feedback works, and what time commitment is expected. For factual questions about an intake, compare our guide with the official university source linked on the same page.
